Turning 65? Happy birthday — and welcome to the club.
You’re about to enroll in Medicare, and the choices matter. I’m Roderick Bonds, right here in Cedar Hill. I’ll walk you through them and help you land on what fits your life. It takes a careful minute. Let’s take it together.
Or send me a message and I’ll get back to you.
It takes a careful minute.
That’s the whole idea behind how I work. It’s about ten seconds — just enough to put a face to the name. Then when you’re ready, we’ll take the rest of that minute together.

Medicare comes at you fast. It doesn’t have to be confusing.
When you’re turning 65, the mail piles up and the phone won’t stop. Here’s what’s usually on people’s minds:
- Am I going to get a penalty?
- Did I already miss a deadline?
- How do I know I’m in the right plan?
- Which coverage actually fits me?
- Who can I really trust?
Those are the right questions. Let’s sit down and answer them together — one at a time.
What comes first
Your first window is a seven-month span around your 65th birthday — not a single day. Three months before your birthday month, the month itself, and three months after. You’ve got time; you just can’t ignore it.
If you or your spouse are still working, a few details can change the answer: whether your coverage comes from a current job, how many people that employer has, and whether you’re putting money into a Health Savings Account (HSA). Those are the first things I’ll ask about.
Not sure where you stand? Tell me your birthday month and how you’re covered today. I’ll tell you what comes first and what can wait.
Call (469) 867-4390Here’s exactly what happens when you call.
I listen first.
You tell me where you are. I don’t start by assuming you need anything.
I ask about your life, not your budget.
Which doctors you want to keep. What prescriptions you take. Whether you travel.
I explain your options.
What fits, what doesn’t, and why.
You decide. Not me, and not today.
Take the weekend. Talk it over with your family. There’s no deadline on my end.
It costs you nothing to ask. The insurance companies pay me, so my help is free to you — and you pay the same for a plan whether you come through me or go direct.
Or leave me your details.
Tell me a little about your situation and I’ll get back to you. This goes straight to my inbox — no assistant, no call center.
Please don’t include Social Security, Medicare, banking, or detailed medical information.
Ready when you are.
