Insurance was not the plan.
I was on the tail end of 37 years in the Navy Reserve — about to walk away as a Chief Petty Officer and wondering what came next.
Along the way, I had earned a Master’s in Telecommunications Science at SMU, worked as an engineer at MCI, and raised a family.
A friend thought “we” should get “our” insurance licenses. He never even took a class. I did.
What was supposed to be something to pass the time became an important part of my life. Ten years later, I was still doing it.
Why? Because from the start, it felt like I was helping people make decisions that really matter — about their health, their money and the people they care about.
I didn’t build SafeFare to become a big agency. I built it for people like my mother, my neighbors and my friends from church. They want straight answers. They want to know what is out there that actually fits what they need.
